KINGSTON, Jamaica – The final race of ten on the Saturday programme of April 1, 2023, is a testing non-winners of two event for locally bred three-year-olds, and a maiden for three-year-old foreigners.

The eleven entered will travel 5 ½ furlongs, with The Quick Galloper’s analysis published below.

– INSPIRE FORCE is a chestnut filly (USA April 23) by Union Jackson out of Exotic Design trained by Philip Feanny with Trevor Simpson in the saddle. Put in her place on March 18 by Atlantic Convoy and Anonymous going 7 1\2 furlongs. The reduction by two furlongs befits Inspire Force, who seems to be an out-and-out sprinter. Note, Inspire Force races with the visor on.

– DE LYE LA is a bay filly (February 25) by Bern Identity out of Along trained by Ian Parsard with Javaniel Patterson aboard. Got off the mark over four furlongs 14 days ago. Now faces much tougher opposition, and will learn from this first effort at non-two.

– ACKNOWLEDGEME is a bay filly (March 26) by Key To Power out of Gentle Officer trained by Michael Thomas with Ramon Nepare. Has turned out to be a consistent sort, whose time at this level will come soon.

– BULLETPROOFCOFFEE is a bay filly (USA February 16) by He Be Fire N Ice trained by Owen Sharpe with Jerome Innis aboard. This foreigner has yet to get acclimatized to the local track.

– SHOW GIRL is a bay filly (April 9) by Northern Giant out of Thegirlnextdoor trained by Jason DaCosta with Roger Hewitt aboard. Last raced in the Jamaica Two Year Old Stake (one mile), and will have to wait before winning can be considered.

– FLYBLUEJET is a dark brown filly (USA April 3) by Air Force Blue out of Perfectly Beautiful trained by Philip Feanny with Anthony Thomas. Was completely out of sorts going seven and a half furlongs. On Saturday, Flybluejet returns to familiar real estate, where she has a better chance of winning. Note, Flybluejet races with the figure 8 on.

– BURLAP is a bay colt (March 18) by Casual Trick out of Fedora trained by Richard Azan with Dane Dawkins in the saddle. Did well on his seasonal bow 42 days ago, and having worked well since then is poised for win number two. Note, Burlap races with the visor on.

– CURLIN’S NOON is a bay colt (March 17) by Perfect Curlin out of Noon It Is trained by Anthony Nunes with Youville Pinnock aboard. Far behind in the Sir Howard when finishing 20 lengths behind the winner. Will have to wait.

– RIDGE LINER is a bay colt (May 27) by Dreamliner out of Ma Grande trained by Dale Murphy with Oshane Nugent aboard. Bolted when declared to start in the Sir Howard. Ridge Liner is an improving sort, who will have the opportunity for redemption.

– VOLATILITY is a bay filly (March 10) by Hedge Fund out of Fashionista trained by Anthony Nunes with Tevin Foster aboard. Returned after a long break in the Hot Line Stakes when finishing a good fourth. Continues to show improvement in the mornings and will be a serious factor in this one.

– PLATINUM FORCE is a bay colt (March 30) by Guilt Trip out of Catherine’s Dream trained by Philip Feanny with Reyan Lewis aboard. Five and a half furlongs is way too short for Platinum Force.
