KINGSTON, Jamaica – Trevor ‘ Slicer’ Simpson reached the elevated heights of riding 1,500 winners, when he won aboard Soul Amia in the eighth race on Sunday, March 12, 2023.
Simpson occupies second place on the all-time list of jockeys with the most lifetime wins. The leader is Winston Griffiths with 1,664 wins.
It is to be noted that on the top 25 list are two foreigners; Panamanian Dick Cardenas in position number nine with 772 wins, and Trinidadian Brian Harding in 22nd place with 449 wins.
