Tevin Foster continues good form – wins 1st race (05/12/2019) on Twilight Eruption

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Apprentice Tevin Foster continued his excellent start to his riding career as he just guided the Byron Davis trained Twilight Eruption to victory in the first of 10 races at Caymanas Park.
Going off at odds of 2-1, in the seven-furlong encounter, Twilight Eruption was held off the pace before taking the lead with a furlong and a half to go beating 6-1 chance Shauna Cruise by 3 ½ lengths. Shauna Cruise was 2 ½ lengths in front of odds on 4-5 favourite First Selection who had a horrible start.
The winning time was 1:30.1 with splits of 24.2 x 49.0 x 1:14.4.
