Soul Cure gives Mamdeen number three on the day

KINGSTON, Jamaica – It was a gate to wire affair for Soul Cure in the seventh race on the Saturday programme which was just run at Caymanas Park.

The win by Soul Cure, after three consecutive second place finishes, gave apprentice Christopher Mamdeen his third winner on the day and it was the first for trainer Gary Subratie.

Soul Cure raced unchallenged for the entire distance of 5 ½ furlongs in an event for three-year-olds – non-winners of two.

Second was Latapy who was running on with third going to Formal Fashion.

The winning time posted by Soul Cure for 5 ½ furlongs was 1:07.2.
