KINGSTON, Jamaica – It was an easy win in the seventh race for the 7-1 chance Sir Kel ridden by Jerome Innis and trained by Paul Charlton. This was after some poor runs coming into this event.

Innis was motionless for the first three furlongs of the five-furlong straight event. Then in the last furlong, he got to work but was never in danger of losing at any stage despite the persistent tries of Baltusrol who started as the 4-5 favourite. Baltusrol drawn at the prohibitive number one post-position finished second, 1 ½ lengths behind Sir Kel.

Third spot was occupied by Time For A Kola who made good late headway at odds of 15-1.

Sir Kel was Chatlton’s sixth winner for the year.
