KINGSTON, Jamaica – Ricky Ricardo made his way to Overnight Allowance after a good win in a Restricted Allowance offering for four-year-olds and upwards – non-winners of four – competed for over seven furlongs.

Ridden by apprentice Raddesh Roman, Ricky Ricardo was surprisingly early as Graydon (Shane Ellis – 2-1) and Key Witness (Christopher Mamdeen - 31-1) set the early splits with the 8-5 chance Royal Aviator slowly out of the gates.

Atlantic Blue (Kiaman McGregor) was following the leaders closely and made his move with two and a half furlongs to go. It the straight it was Atlantic Blue with Ricky Ricardo winding up on the outside. A fierce battle ensured with Ricky Ricardo pulling away from Atlantic Blue to win by just over a length.

As the race ended, the stewards put up the inquiry sign as McGregor had to take a tug on Atlantic Blue but the stewards quickly announced that there would be no change to the order of finish.

Atlantic Blue was second with Key Witness third.
