Omar Walker/Ian Parsard on the double with Peking Cruz in Caymanas Tuesday seventh

KINGSTON, Jamaica – The Caymanas Tuesday seventh was suppose to be a sprint duel involving Peking Cruz (Omar Walker) and Mr Universe (Anthony Thomas) but it was not be.

Peking Cruz racing for the first time under the care of trainer Ian Parsard, after entertaining Mr Universe for the first of this five-furlong sprint for million-dollar claimers (three-year-olds and upwards) shot to the lead and then demolished all and sundry in the lane, winning by all of 7 ¼ lengths.

Second was Anaso (Paul Francis) who was a short head in front of the third placed Top Shelf (Tevin Foster).

Peking Cruz provided both Walker and Parsard with a double on the day.
