KINGSTON, Jamaica – Valedictorian of the last batch of apprentices, Shane Richardson rode his first winner for the 2019 racing season, when he piloted the Andrew Nunes trained, Mamacita to victory in the fifth race of 11 on the Saturday (August 17) programme at Caymanas Park.

Mamacita won a Maiden Special Weight event for three-year-olds run over four furlongs straight.

It was a relatively easy win for Mamacita with Richardson doing his job by keeping the bay filly on a straight course. Mamacita won at odds of 5-2.

Second was Super Amia (Reyan Lewis) with third going to Sweet Surprise (Bebeto Harvey).
