KINGSTON, Jamaica – Jockey Youville Pinnock continued his good form of late when he closed a fine double on Special Counsel in the Caymanas Monday seventh which was a five-year-old and upwards Restricted Allowance (non-winners of three) contest.
Special Counsel, owned, trained, and bred by Carl Anderson went straight in front and had no challengers until Azul (Tevin Foster) burst through in the last half-a-furlong but it was a little too late as Special Counsel on to win by a length. Saint Michael (Paul Francis) was third.
