Going With Acknowledgewithme In Saturday’s Juvenile Fillies Sprint

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Juvenile fillies, 14 of them, engage in a sprint battle at five furlongs round.

Among the 14, are six, who will be making their first competitive track appearance.

The Quick Galloper looks at the 14 maiden fillies trying to find the winner. This analysis is done in post-position order.  

1 - WAYNE’S PRINCESS is a bay filly (May 19) by Northern Giant out of Patara trained by Jason DaCosta with Reyan Lewis in the saddle. This filly has been progressing well in the mornings. Morning onlookers are reporting that Wayne’s Princess will run a good race. NOTE: Patara has already produced Aria, Allan, and Super Duper.

2 – CRUCIAL ALEXXYA is a grey filly (March 8) by Admiral Alex out of Crucial Cat trained by Carl Anderson with Andre Martin aboard. Crucial Alexxya has not displayed anything of note in her four outings to date.

3 - MISS MAMAS is a bay filly (April 6) by Conquest Cherimash out of Cup O Tea trained by Steven Todd with Richard Byrd in the saddle. Learning her game at exercise.

4 - TRU IDENTITY is a bay filly (May 31) by Bern Identity out of Quiet Grandeur trained by Roy Matthews with Raddesh Roman aboard. Tru Identity has been coming along at exercise and will come into her own given time.

5 – SWEET VICTORY is a grey filly (February 18) by Spieth out of Bitter End trained by Howard Jaghai with Aaron Chatrie aboard. Was absent on her first outing on November 12. No change is expected. Note, Sweet Victory races with the blinkers on.

6 – SHOW GIRL is a bay filly (April 9) by Northern Giant out of The Girl Next Door trained by Jason DaCosta with Robert Halledeen. Did well when finishing second behind Mojito on November 12. With the experience in her hoofs, Show Girl is sure to be in the thick of this one.

7 – LAMBO GIRL is a chestnut filly (April 12) by Admiral Alex out of Absolute Justice trained by Wilfred Chin with Jerome Innis aboard. Will not bother these. Note, Lambo Girl races with the tongue tie-off. 

8 – PIGGLIE WIGGLIE is a bay filly (April 2) by Conquest Cherimash trained by Patrick Fong with Samantha Fletcher aboard. After being prominent on November 5 at five and a half furlongs. Pigglie Wigglie will be better off over this shorter trip without bothering the principals. Note, Pigglie Wigglie races with the blinkers off, and first-time Lasix. 

9 – THE LOVE OF GOD is a chestnut filly (February 22) by Lion Tamer out of The Principal trained by Lawrence Freemantle with Javaniel Patterson aboard. After four starts, still has a lot to learn.

10 - BAZINGA is a bay filly (April 15) by Successful Native out of Queen of Bagdad trained by Philip Feanny with Anthony Thomas aboard. Bazinga has caught the eye at exercise. She is well-advanced and will have a prominent say in the outcome.

11 – ALL FOR LOVE is a chestnut filly (February 1) by Nuclear Wayne out of Princess Sallema trained by Gary Subratie with Dane Dawkins in the saddle. All For Love has been prominent in her two starts to date. On Saturday, All For Love is given the opportunity of being unsaddled as a first-time winner.

12 - BOASEY is a bay filly (May 17) by Casual Trick out of The Golden One trained by Jason DaCosta with Omar Walker in the saddle. Well-bred filly, who has caught the eye at exercise. She will be a part of the outcome in this one. NOTE: The Golden One has already produced Golden Glory, Thunderbelle, Fearless Treblav, Tricky One, and Oneofakind.

13 – THE BEES KNEES is a bay filly (January 26) by Savoy Stomp out of Awesome Sauce trained by Richard Azan with Youville Pinnock aboard. In her two outings thus far, The Bees Knees has not excited. That trend will continue. Note, The Bees Knees races with first-time Lasix. 

14 – ACKNOWLEDGEME is a bay filly (March 26) by Key To Power out of Gentle Officer trained by Michael Thomas with Shane Ellis aboard. Did well to finish second seven days past. Now, Acknowledgeme finds rivals much more to her liking. She will be hard to deny especially with Shane Ellis in the saddle.
