Easy does it for Stranger Danger – wins for the 7th time from 7 starts

STRANGER DANGER WALKER OMAR APRIL 3 2019 (9)

KINGSTON, Jamaica – It was expected and so it was.

Stranger Danger a US importee made hacks of the opposition when winning a 7 ½ furlongs Open Allowance event just moments ago at Caymanas Park. This was the first of 11 races on today’s (August 17) card.

It was an even break by all six runners, as Sergeant Reckless led for a lot of the way but after leaving the half-mile point in the race, jockey Omar Walker made his move on Stranger Danger and as they say, that was that, for the others.

Trained by Wayne DaCosta, Stranger Danger ran a fast 1:30.3 for the distance. The track record of 1:29.2 is held by Sky Train.

Uncle Frank finished second but was later disqualified and placed fourth for causing interference to Saratoga Sight.

The right placings therefore read first – Stranger Danger; second – Hover Craft; third – Saratoga Sight.

Stranger Danger won by 11 lengths in what was a paid exercise gallop.
