KINGSTON, Jamaica – The 2022 Derby winning combination of jockey Dane Dawkins and trainer Gary Subratie are in their ‘ackee’.
After they joined forces to win the Derby yesterday (Saturday, August 7, 2022) with Atomica, the two were at it again this time on Jamaica Oaks Day (Sunday, August 7, 2022), winning the day’s fifth event with Traditional Boy.
It was the second winner on the day for Dawkins, following his success on Executive Chief for trainer Patrick Lynch in the fourth.
