KINGSTON, Jamaica – After a below par performance by Atomica in today’s (Saturday, December 3, 2022) inaugural running of the Mouttet Mile, owner Don Wehby has confirmed with Quickgallop.com that the filly will continue her racing career next year at four years.
“Atomica has had a gruelling three-year-old campaign ranging from six to 12 furlongs. Now it is time to rest, and Atomica will now get that rest before resuming her career next year.
“Plus, during the Mouttet Mile, Atomica got a cut on her back foot, so that has to be tended to as well.
“The main issue at hand now is deserved rest for Atomica,” Wehby said.
