KINGSTON, Jamaica – It took time but apprentice Christopher Mamdeen finally got his first winner on the 10-race card at Caymanas Park when he had an easy outing on the Phillip Elliott trained Mystic Mama.
Racing in a maiden three-year-old event run over five furlongs round for fillies only, Mamdeen shot Mystic Mama to the front and was never in danger of losing throughout the race running as the 1-2 odds on favourite.
Second went to Blind Faith (Anthony Thomas) at odds of 3-2 with third the position belonging to Mamasharondarling (Reyan Lewis) who went off at odds of 5-1.
