BetMakers and Supreme Ventures have issued their first set of fixed odds in Jamaica. These fixed odds will be for the eleven races on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at Caymanas Park.
Each race day, you’ll be able to see the opening prices BetMakers has issued right here on Quickgallop.com
Odds are displayed in decimal odds to the dollar, meaning that the stake is included in the price (for example 2-1 becomes $3, 9-2 is $5.50). The minimum wager is $100.
An often-asked question regarding fixed odds betting is what happens if there is a scratching after bets have been taken?
Firstly, if you have backed a runner that is scratched then you receive a full refund but then deductions apply to bets placed prior to the scratch in relation to what price they were at the time of scratching, similar to how the tote recalculates.
For the initial stage, fixed odds will only be available on-track at Caymanas.
