KINGSTON, Jamaica – Eight three-year-olds have been nominated in a maiden contest going 7 ½ furlongs on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at Caymanas Park.
THE QUICK GALLOPER analysis is published below.
– MILLINIUM STAR is a bay filly (February 28) by Storm Craft out of  Running Star trained by Johnny Wilmot with Paul Francis aboard. Nothing of significance to report from her two starts.
– SECRET EMPEROR is a bay gelding (February 16) by Emperor Hall out of Secret Cat trained by Carl Anderson with Shane Ellis aboard. Just failed 21 days ago when finishing a head behind Howilookin at a mile. The reduction in the trip by half a furlong will suit Secret Emperor and with regular rider Shane Ellis retaining the ride, this three-year-old is poised to get off the mark.
– NOA LI is a bay filly (April 10) by Forest Danger out of Celine trained by Anthony Nunes with Odeen Edwards aboard. Noa Li after being prominent early faded away (one mile) behind Secret Emperor and  Howilookin. The handicaps with Noa Li and Secret Emperor are the same, thereby giving the edge once again to the latter. Note, Noa Li races with the figure 8 on.
– STORM A COME is a bay colt (March 9) by Storm Craft out of Terra Marque trained by Patrick Lynch with Tevin Foster aboard. Coming along but will have to wait.  Note, Storm A Come races with the figure 8 on.
– JOE is a chestnut colt (April 21) by Legal Process out of Lady Jameela trained by Michael Marlowe with Phillip Parchment aboard. Making progress and will learn. Note, Joe is the blinkers off.
– DON VINCENZO is a bay coly (May 27) by Savoy Stomp out of Exotic Selection trained by Spencer Chung with Reyan Lewis aboard. Left his starting stall way behind rivals on August 27 (6 ½ furlongs). On Saturday, Don Vincenzo will enjoy the extra furlong but his jockey Reyan Lewis must get him out early.
– NIKITA B is a bay filly (March 19) by Deputy Glitters out of Osada trained by Edward Stanberry with Roger Hewitt aboard. Can safely be discarded from any reckoning.
– ANCHORMAN is a bay colt (February 27) by Soul Warrior out of Bitter End trained by Anthony Nunes with Anthony Thomas in the saddle. The handicaps are against Anchorman when compared with Secret Emperor. However, Anchorman is progressing in the right direction and is going to have a say.
