KINGSTON, Jamaica – A well blossomed and gook looking Princess Ava with Dane Nelson aboard cruised through the pack before unleashing a spectacular final flurry to easily win the Overnight Allowance – one mile – contest on today’s nine race card at the Park.

While a lot of attention was placed on the return of Princess Ava’s stablemate and 2019 Triple Crown champion Supreme Soul, it was the former who displayed her rising status. Supreme Soul was never in the race but looked good and shiny in the post parade. He will return. With this win Princess Ava now races in the Open Allowance class.

Sentient (Chris Mamdeen), who fought gallantly throughout earned second place with Crimson (Robert Halledeen) third.

This was the third winner on the day for Nelson and the second for the trainer of Princess Ava, champion Anthony Nunes.

The winning time was 1:38.3.
