KINGSTON, Jamaica – Racing with the back markers for most of the way in a Restricted Allowance offering for four-year-olds and upwards non-winners of four travelling 7 ½ furlongs, Purple Wayne came with a searing last two furlong run to snap the third.  This as the nine-race card continued to progress at Caymanas Park.

Ridden by Omar Walker and trained by Robert Pearson, Purple Wayne chances of winning looked hopeless from the time the starter let them go.

Developing talent Deep Blue Sea racing for the first time at this level and running as the 3-5 favourite with apprentice Raddesh Roman in the saddle looked all over the winner with half-a-furlong left in the contest – then came Walker and Purple Wayne to snatch victory by half – a – length.

Deep Blue Sea held for second with Reggae Gone Grammy third.

The winning time was 1:33.0.
