KINGSTON, Jamaica – England’s Rose from the rich purple bloodline of Natural Selection – Ahwhofah making her a full sister of She’s A Maneater, who has had several injury issues during her short career, bloomed majestically to emphatically take home the Caymanas Saturday fourth.

That was England’s Rose fourth win from seven starts with her latest victory achieved in the six-furlong Supreme Ventures Racing and Entertainment Limited Sprint Trophy, the secondary feature on the 10-race Derby Day 2020 racing card currently underway at Caymanas Park.

Ridden by apprentice Oshane Nugent and trained by Wayne DaCosta, England’s Rose as is her usual style shot to the front when the starter pressed the go button.

Thereafter it was a race for second as England’s Rose commanding presence dictated a whopping 11-length victory. Alexa’s Lodge (Omar Walker) finished second with Glock (Dane Nelson) third.

England’s Rose won in a time of 1:10.4, which was a new Stakes record. The old record of 1:13.0 set last year was held by God of Love.
