Dane Nelson brings home Coralando in Caymanas Saturday (Nov 7) second to be nine behind Anthony Thomas

KINGSTON, Jamaica – It was back to normal for punters after the devastation of Twilight Lady at 79-1 winning the first race at Caymanas Park today, as 3-5 favourite Coralando with Dane Nelson in the saddle duly obliged.

It was an easy win for the seven-year-old bay gelding in an Optional Claimer ($550, 000 - $500,000) for three-year-olds and upwards going seven furlongs

This latest visit to the winners’ enclosure by Nelson took him to just nine wins behind leader Anthony Thomas as the race for the jockeys’ title is getting hotter and hotter.

Second behind Coralando was Luana (Anthony Thomas) with Cartel (Raddesh Roman) third.
