After being asked to do remedial riding sessions apprentice Oshane Nugent comes good on Polly B in Caymanas Saturday fifth

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Apprentice Oshane Nugent was a winner after timing his winning effort with precision on 4-5 odds on Polly B.

Polly B came home in front in the Caymanas Saturday fifth which was an Optional Claimer ($250,000 – $200,000) for three-year-olds and upwards travelling four furlongs straight.

Nugent in the final furlong was behind Just Trick Me (Chris Mamdeen) but he waited and waited and then brought Polly B to go by winning by 1 ¼ lengths.

Nugent following a hearing by the stewards of the Jamaica Racing Commission was lashed with a fine totalling $25,000 for two separate incidents and was recommended for at least five remedial riding session.

Polly B is trained by Steven Todd.
