KINGSTON, Jamaica - The second two-year-old race for the year is set to be run tomorrow (July 13) at Caymanas Park.
Six youngers are entered for this three-furlong contest. with all but one, Daytona Belle facing the starter for the first time.
COLAWILL: (2-y-o b f – Strikeitwhileitshot – Swiss Account) – Raced once already with showing anything to recommend her for this one.
WOW WOW: (2-y-o b. c – Casual Trick – Sarah Barracuda) – Finished second behind the speedy England’s Rose in the first two-year-old race of the season on June 29. Wow Wow has prepared well and it is difficult to see her losing this one.
CRAFTY ZELLA ZEEN: (2-y-o b. c - Storm Craft – Remmi Case) – This bay colt was entered in the first juvenile race but was declared a late non-starter. Crafty Zella Zeen is learning his craft and should not trouble rivals tomorrow.
DAYTONA BELLE: (2-y-o b. f – Dayton Flyer – Burning Brightly) – First timer, so it’s a wait and see game.
DEJAE’S BOY: (2-y-o dkb. c – Storm Craft – Dream Big) – Went down to the starting gates to participate in the first two-year-old event on June 29 but no ends of trouble behind the gates and was taken out of the race. Now has a chance to run if he remains calm.
EXPEDITIOUS: (2-y-o b. c – Storm Craft – Breath of Life) – Ran in the first two-year-old of the year on June 29 and was too far behind the winner and second placed horses to even nudge some support in this one.
