KINGSTON, Jamaica – The outstanding run of form since the return of racing on June 20 by trainer Patrick “Wacky” Lynch and jockey Dane Dawkins continued apace in the second of 11 races at Caymanas Park.

The pair joined together to bring home 2-5 favourite Formal Gladiator in a Restricted Allowance 111 for five-year-olds and upwards going 5 ½ furlongs.

From the off, it was Storm Born (Richard Henry 11-1) who shot into the lead with Dawkins holding Formal Gladiator comfortably off the pace in third.

Both Formal Gladiator and Storm Born went wide at the top of the straight but the former was too strong taking over the lead easily and was good enough to hold the late burst of Miss Elaine (Anthony Thomas 9-1). Third went to number 8 Outrageous Taj.

The winning time was 1:08.2.
