As Tevin Foster, Anthony Nunes team up for another win
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Champion trainer Anthony Nunes and jockey Tevin Foster continued their winning association this time with debutante Valhalla in the Caymanas Saturday second.
Valhalla’s maiden success was accomplished in a three-year-old maiden event travelling 4 ½ furlongs.
From the off, Valhalla was close to the early leader Maggie’s Boy (Chris Mamdeen), but after hitting the race track proper, accelerated well, pushing on to win with ease by 3 ½ lengths.
Rum Puncher (Oshane Nugent) was second with the third spot occupied by another first-timer Brompton Alex (Oneil Mullings). The winning time was 54.4.
