KINGSTON, Jamaica – Returning to competitive racing for the first time since December 6, 2018, Rojorn Di Pilot (Omar Walker) did not hesitate to notch his second career win from just four starts in the first of 10 races at Caymanas Park not long ago.
Trained by Wayne DaCosta and racing in a Restricted Allowance 11 event for three-year-old non-winners of two and imported maidens, Rojorn Di Pilot got an even break in the five furlongs round contest. Walker allowed Soul Cure to lead before getting closer entering the final bend with Universal Boss (Robert Halledeen) lurking on the outside.
In the stretch drive, Rojorn Di Pilot briefly fought with Universal Boss before pulling away convincingly for a 2 ¾ lengths victory. Universal Boss was second with Splendid Vision third.
The winning time was 1:00.1 after splits of 22.3 x 46.1.
