KINGSTON, Jamaica – After many, many attempts My Son Bates was finally able to release the maiden tag in the third race at Caymanas Park just minutes ago.
In doing so, My Son Bates a 9-5 betting option provided veteran trainer Arnold Rambally Jnr with his first winner in 2019.
Apprentice Reyan Lewis was the jockey on board. My Son Bates was Lewis’ 15 winner for this season.
Second went to Stormy Lady all of 10 lengths behind with Genuine Train occupying third position.
The winning time for the 8 1/2 furlongs – four-year-old and up maiden special weight event was a pedestrian 1:52.3.
