KINGSTON, Jamaica – Ten juveniles line up as starters in the annual renewal of the one-mile Andrew Aguilar Memorial Cup.

The one mile of this cup event is the longest thus far to be completed by the two-year-olds.

The Quick Galloper assesses the 10 starters. Please note that this analysis is done based on the Overnight programme, and is subject to change.

1 – PIGGLIE WIGGLIE is a bay filly (April 2) by Conquest Cherimash out of Save More. Has been racing often of late. Pigglie Wigglie was prominent over five furlongs (round) before faltering in the final furlong. One mile is going too far for this filly.

2 – UNCHARTER is a bay colt (February 15) by Hedge Fund out of Little Gidding. Started his career with a noticeable third-place finished (six furlongs) behind Mojito and Show Girl, with the latter going on to win. Uncharter then raced in the Cash Pot (seven furlongs) against the leading lights among the juveniles, and was a no-show. Now he is back where he belongs and with the journey right has been given the opportunity of getting off the mark. Note, Uncharter races with the blinkers on.

3 – RHYTHM BUZZ is a bay colt (April 22) by Buzz Nightmare out of River Rhythm. On debut, he caught the eye when finishing second to She’s Myhedgefund at seven furlongs. That is enough evidence to suggest that Rhythm Buzz with the benefit of that first run in his hoofs will have a good enough chance as any.

4 – ALL FOR LOVE is a chestnut filly (February 1) by Nuclear Wayne out of Princess Sallema. All For Love is out for her fourth start after coming on a bit at five furlongs (round) seven days ago. This is a major distance progression for All For Love and is therefore given a position on the board.

5 – ROARING THUNDER is a grey colt (April 16) by Speith out of Little Thunder. Still learning going into his third start.

6 – PRINCESS TALISE is a bay filly (April 17) by Savoy Stomp out of Dancing Queen. This filly has raced four times and had finished fourth on three occasions. Princess Talise has already tried seven furlongs, holding her gallop well in the straight. Should hit the board. Note, Princess Talise races with the visor off.

7 – LAMBO GIRL is a chestnut filly (April 12) by Admiral Alex out of Absolute Justice. Will not be a factor.

8 – HERE COMES KEN is a bay colt (February 16) by Here Comes Ben out of Sparkling Michaela. Not expected to play a prominent part. Note, Here Comes Ben races with the blinkers and tongue tie on, plus first-time Lasix.

9 – ACKNOWLEDGEME is a bay filly (March 26) BY Key To Power out of Gentle Officer. Enters this contest after a break of only seven days and is also the most experienced of the lot. A place in the top four is his best bet.

10 – LOYAL ACTION is a bay colt (February 22) by Western Warrior out of Fast Action. Still finding his way.
