Two slices for Trevor – scores second win on Elal

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Jockey Trevor ‘Slicer’ Simpson made it win number two on the day on Elal just moments ago in the fourth race on the 10-race card at Caymanas Park.
With none of the favourites obliging after four races, Simpson after duelling with Dezzy The Genius (Dane Nelson) for most of the one mile in this four-year-old and up – non-winners of two contest, pull away for a decisive win in the end.
Going off at 5-2 Elal trained by Michael Francis beat My Mom Juss (7-1) and Queen Of The Harbour (9-5) in that order.
The winning time was 1:41.3 with splits of 24.4 x 47.4 x 1:13.0.
Dezzy The Genius was the 8-5 favourite.
