KINGSTON, Jamaica – The Caymanas Park Saturday (November 7) 11-race card got off to a savage start for punters as 79-1 outsider Twilight Lady took the first for champion jockey Christopher Mamdeen and owner/trainer/breeder Carl Anderson.

The upset victory came on a sloppy track with sand splashing everywhere in a Restricted Allowance call for three-year-olds and upwards travelling 5 ½ furlongs.

Mamdeen held Twilight Lady off the pace set by Double Jeopardy (Omar Walker) and Casual Affair (Anthony Thomas). Keeping on the inside rails when they entered the straight, Mamdeen and Twilight Lady seized control after getting by Double Jeopardy.

It was not done yet as Generational (Dane Nelson) out run in the early going was flying at  the end and just failed to nip Twilight Lady. Double Jeopardy was third.

This was the 11th win for Mamdeen this year.

The winning time was 1:07.3.
