KINGSTON, Jamaica – True Al Sky, a three-year-old bay filly by American Dance - Go Flint Go made a winning start to her career following an impressive run in the Caymanas Sunday third.

The experience of Shane Ellis came to the fore as he waited easily in third as Ballatelli (Dick Cardenas) and Mine That Cat (Dane Nelson) vied for supremacy on the headlines. That battle was won by Balatelli who looked good in front but Ellis was simply biding his time before making a telling move just before the leader entered the straight.

In the run to the winning post, Balatelli was strong but the class of the Alford Brown trained True Al Sky took over and the bay filly gathered momentum – pulling away to win by 3 ½ lengths.

Ballatelli also trained by Brown was second with Mine That Cat third.

The first three races on today’s Sunday card have all been won by odds-on favourites.
