Trevor Simpson slices them on Secret Traveller at 5-1

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Former champion jockey Trevor ‘Slicer’ Simpson reminded racing fans at Caymanas Park just moments ago what he is made of when he skilfully guided the Patrick Lynch trained Secret Traveller to victory in the nine furlongs and 25 yards, Fan Appreciation Day Trophy.
Simpson who mainly plies his trade in the United States is back home riding during the winter break. Secret Traveller won at odds of 5-1 and was clocked at 1:56.2 for the distance.
Second went to veteran Royal Vibes with Phillip Parchment aboard at 11-1 and third was the slot occupied by 4-5 favourite Drummer Boy.
