KINGSTON, Jamaica – The longest odds winner in the first eight races was Glock at 7-2. Then came the Caymanas Saturday ninth when Awesome Treasure stole the show from in front winning at odds of 21-1.

That victory for the imported four-year-old filly came at the Overnight Allowance grade travelling one mile.

Jockey Dane Dawkins riding for trainer Gary Subratie, sent Awesome Treasure to the lead shortly after been released from her starting stall.

Then with certainty, Dawkins kept Awesome Treasure, racing with the visor on and the blinkers off, moving further and further away.

Turning for the last two furlongs, Excessive Force (Oshane Nugent) after tracking Awesome Treasure for most of the way again went wide thereby dissipated all his chances of winning as Awesome Treasure kept on resolutely to win by 2 ¾ lengths. Uncle Frank was third.

Awesome Treasure provided Dawkins with his second winner on the day.
