Trainer Richard Todd passes on

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Quickgallop.com has been informed that trainer Richard Todd passed away this morning while at the racetrack.

Todd was aged 61 years at the time of his passing.

The Todd family has been synonymous with horse racing in Jamaica for the last 50 years with Richard’s father L C Todd, also a conditioner of racehorses.

Richard’s son Steven is now one of the leading trainers at Caymanas Park.

In the early days of QUICKGALLOP.COM, Richard Todd shared his thoughts about the website and advised on the site’s growth and development.
