KINGSTON, Jamaica – Trainer Alford Brown after scoring in the third with his filly Adore Brilliance, added one more to his tally when he won the fourth with the 1-5 odds on favourite Case Closed.

Racing with Shane Ellis in the saddle, in a maiden four-year-old and upwards contest over 6 1/.2 furlongs, Case Closed winning effort was made easier by the late withdrawal of his main nemesis In The Blood who gave no ends of trouble in the attempt to get him into the starting gates.

From then, despite an early challenge from Ashley’s Gold, it was all Case Closed.

Hard Working Man nipped Ashley’s Gold for second.
