KINGSTON, Jamaica – Again, racing fans are blessed with another 10 very competitive races laced by good fields thereby increasing the option of long shot winners.

FIRST RACE: Two horses, Dr Banner now with Dane Nelson in the saddle, and Yolove (Chris Mamdeen) come out best at the handicaps with Lady Jaela (Anthony Thomas) not far behind. Vijeeta also comes in with a fair chance. The winning choice is Yolove. BEST BET - LADY JAELA/YOLOVE QUINELLA.

SECOND RACE: Looks a cinch for Unbreakable, who will go off as an odds-on favourite.

THIRD RACE: Tough Overnight event with Dragline, Princess Emanuelle and Dancing Queen are the main contenders with the consistent Bruce Wayne waiting in the wings. Dancing Queen gets the nod but only just. BET BET – Dancing Queen, Princess Emannuelle, Bruce Wayne EXACTA BOX.

FOURTH RACE: $180,000 claimers are always a quandy for bettors. Using form, the leaders in this are Dinner By Seven, Also Correct, Concur and Vision of Gold with the nod going to Concur.

FIFTH RACE: two-year-old seven-furlong event, which should provide Universal Boss the full brother of Patriarch with a debut win.

SIXTH RACE: Maiden fillies only compete here with the top three being Key Witness, Best Advice and Ashtrid. Best Advice should finally shed the maiden tag.

SEVENTH RACE: Straight fight between Azaria who likes it long and Harry’s Train with the local Azaria tipped to get home. Storm has a chance of spoiling the fun of these two. BEST BET – Azaria, Harry’s Train, Storm – EXACTA BOX.

EIGHTH: Time to get brave. The major players seem to be Parajet, and Lazer Light but word has been surfacing about one Donald Trog, let’s hope this is not fake news.

NINTH RACE: Brandy promises much but does not seem able to find her footing after a long layoff. Difficult to recommend, so the choice is Bad Boy Trump.

TENTH RACE: Anything can happen in the night cap – Uncle Freddie is the chosen one.
