Three in a row for Cartel in Caymanas Saturday ninth, double for Anthony Thomas, Gregory Forsyth

KINGSTON, Jamaica – The now re-born Cartel made it three consecutive wins when he demolished rivals in the Caymanas Saturday ninth.

Cartel's victory came in a three-year-old and upwards claiming contest ($750,000 - $600,000) at 5 ½ furlongs.

When the starter let go the eight runners, Cartel ridden by Anthony Thomas for trainer Gregory Forsyth, caught up with Beltane (Dennis Brown) for the lead. Cartel dispatched his adversary and from then on it was over and done with for the others as well.

Lazer Light (Omar Walker) finished second and Blind Faith (Shane Ellis was third.

Cartel gave Thomas and Forsyth their second winner on the day.
