KINGSTON, Jamaica – The second race on Saturday, September 10, 2022, is the second two-year-old contest this season. On this occasion, six horses have been entered and will travel five furlongs round.
THE QUICK GALLOPER’S assessment is provided below.
1 - BROWN SKIN GIRL is a chestnut filly (April 22) by Bold Conquest out of Girl Talk trained by Jason DaCosta with Omar Simpson aboard. Has been around at exercise with the consensus being that this filly is not ready for a winning effort. On Saturday, August 27, Brown Skin Girl galloped three furlongs in 37.2 seconds, and on Saturday, September 3, she galloped three furlongs in 35.3 seconds.
2 – THALITA is a chestnut filly (February 26) by Soul Warrior out of Luminous Trieste trained by Jason DaCosta with Anthony Thomas aboard. Was all the rage on debut (August 1) but was only able to finish third behind Legit Boss and Volatility. Thalita has been progressing well and is in with a good chance of shedding the maiden tag. 3 - SHE’S A MIRAGE is a bay filly (March 29) by Casual Trick out of Full Moon’s Enough) trained by Jason DaCosta with Abigail Able aboard. She’s A Mirage has been finding her way around and does show some ability but according to the clockers, she is not ready yet. Note, She’s A Mirage galloping with Bold Leader on August 29, clocked 50.0 seconds for four furlongs. Then on September 3, She’s A Mirage galloping with Tekapunt was recorded at 49.0 seconds for four furlongs.
4 - ROULETTE BOSS is a bay colt (January 13) by Hedge Fund out of My Heart Beat trained by Dennis Thwaites with Omar Walker aboard. This colt has caught many eyes, clockers, and others in the mornings. Roulette Boss is a well-built and disciplined colt who has been going smoothly through his paces. Many are touting Roulette Boss as the winner of this one. Note, Roulette Boss galloped 49.2 seconds for four furlongs along with Thalita (48.4), on August 27. Then on September 3, Roulette Boss galloped five furlongs in a time of 1:01.2 seconds, with Howilookin.
5 – NOISY LADY is a bay filly (May 10) by Savoy Stomp out of Raise Your Voice trained by Phillip Feanny with Paul Francis aboard. Noisy Lady came into her first run (August 1), well backed but finished down the track. She has been coming along well at exercise and is given a chance of a much better effort.
