KINGSTON, Jamaica – Markofaprince did not have much to do to come out victorious in the Caymanas Saturday fourth which was a short sprint over four furlongs straight for claimers ($250,000 - $200,000).
With co-champion Anthony Thomas in the saddle for trainer Gregory Forsyth, Markofaprince went straight to the lead and was never in danger of losing thereafter.
Princess Statistic (Jordan Barrett) was second with Ballon d’Or occupying the third slot.
This was win number six this season for Forsyth.
