KINGSTON, Jamaica – Eagle One continued the prime form of his trainer Jason DaCosta with a gate to wire win in the Caymanas Tuesday eighth.

The four-year-old US bred bay gelding held on strongly to prevail in the Labour Day Trophy at seven furlongs for horses at the Overnight Allowance level.

After taking the lead jockey Dick Cardenas kept Eagle One in front although being persistently challenged by both Extruder (Paul Francis) and Another Bullet (Robert Halledeen).

Making the turn for home Excessive Force (Oshane Nugent) as expected went wide, while Another Bullet emerged as the main challenger to Eagle One.

In a driving finish Eagle One held on to win by three-parts of a length in front of Another Bullet with the fast-finishing Excessive Force third just a neck behind Another Bullet.

The final time recorded by Eagle One was 1:26.2.
