KINGSTON, Jamaica – Staying close to the front runners, the American bred Taurus Boy (Shane Richardson) found a path through horses to win his first race in the Caymanas Wednesday ninth.

Racing in a non-winners of two event for local three-year-olds and a maiden for three-year-old foreigners, the Philip Feanny trained Taurus Boy raced behind a group of horse with none taking control.

With a furlong to go, in this five straight call, Richardson started to pierce through horses including Unruly Boss (Anthony Thomas), who suffered a knock or two when the gates opened.

In the drive to the winning post Taurus Boy got home by  half-a-length in front of Unruly Boss with Rising Saint (Omar Walker) third.
