‘Tan colours’ Caymanas Monday fifth at 12-1

KINGSTON, Jamaica – The uneven path constructed by the winners of the first four races continued with Colour Me Tan winning the Caymanas Monday fifth at odds of 12-1.

In this five-straight event for four-year-old and upwards (non-winners of two), jockey Jordan Barrett kept the Phillip Lee trainee kept Colour Me Tan up with the leaders.

When the horses reached the racetrack proper, it was Colour Me Tan and US import Sweet N Smart (Dane Dawkins) who were vying for the right to enter the winners' enclosure.

This contest continued for the next furlong and a half between the two before Colour Me Tan pulled away to win by 1 ½ lengths. Sweet N Smart was second and Kay Boy (Omar Walker) third.
