KINGSTON, Jamaica - The last race day of the truncated 2020 season which lost three months because of COVID-19 takes place today starting at 11:00 am at Caymanas Park.
There are eleven races on the programme with the one mile Jamaica Two-year-Old Stakes and the Chris Armond Sprint Cup being the features.
Quickgallop.com understands that jockey Anthony Thomas who is tied on 84 wins with Dane Nelson, like yesterday will not be riding today. Thomas is suffering from a bout of severe food poisoning. While it is yet to be officially confirmed whether or not Nelson who did not mount up yesterday will be in the saddle today. Nelson has a groin injury after falling from Leo last Wednesday in the fifth race.
