KINGSTON, Jamaica – Following the regrading and re-sanding of the race track, things got off to a rocky start for punters especially players of the Reggae-6 and other exotic wagers when 18-1 chance obliged in the Caymanas Saturday (April 17) first.

The event for five-year-olds and upwards in the claiming bracket of $180,000 - $150,000 at 6 ½ furlongs saw Hail Mary (Javaniel Patterson) shooting to the front but this was short-lived as Original Train (Roger Hewitt) and Stormy Lady (Aaron) Chatrie went by with ease to dominate on the front end.

In the turn for home, it was Original Train who had the advantage with Chatrie, as is normal, deciding to take the route on the inside.

The David Lee-Sin-trained Stormy Lady took no time to get rid of rivals winning by 2 ¾ lengths.

Indi Arazi (Abigail Able) finished second with Stan Roy (Bebeto Harvey) third.

This was Stormy Lady’s second win from 22 starts.
