KINGSTON, Jamaica - The closing event on Saturday, December 24, 2022, is a three and four-year-old non-winners of four races with 12 horses facing the starter going 6 furlongs.

– TEKAPUNT is a bay colt (February 25) by Northern Giant out of Just A Flutter. Tekapunt is developing into a worthy come-from-behind sprinting sort, he has no real early, making the possibility of being boxed in from the one draw a difficult proposition.

– LACRIMAE is a grey filly (March 10) by Savoy Stomp out of Pleasant Ending. From the two hole, Lacrimae will have to be quick out, and then maintain a full gallop thereafter. Will have to be at her very best to win this one.

– BUGATTI is a bay colt (March 24) by Casual Trick out of Charmin Diaz. Left the claiming ranks as a winner but has shown nothing of worth in this grade. The trend will continue Saturday.

 - LUKSOL is a bay filly (USA – March 2) by Tapiture out of Stunning Taste. Has done everything asked of her except getting to the winning post in front, always finding a way to lose. Luksol gets another opportunity to win before turning four.

– THALOS is a chestnut gelding (March 2) by Lion Tamer out of Hija De Reina. Has done most of his running over the straight course. Thalos under new guidance of trainer Fernando Geddes will still have to wait. The presence of Shane Ellis is a reason for encouragement.

– A GIFT FROM BEN is a chestnut filly (April 29) by Here Comes Ben out of Sage’s Giftbox. Cannot handle these as yet. Note, A Gift From Ben races with the tongue tie on.

– MONSIEUR BLUE is a bay colt (April 23) by Tourist out of La Hague. Needs time.

– KP CHOICE is a bay colt (April 10) by Nasheet out of Drop Them. This underrated colt has been putting in some worthwhile shifts in this class. KP Choice is a tough competitor, that will dig deep where it matters most.

– FREEDOM STREET is a bay gelding (April 17) by Uncaptured out of Nofashionsense. Did reasonably well when stepping up to this grade. Freedom Street has speed and will cause difficulties on the front end. Note, Freedom Street races with the blinkers on.

– SLAMMER is a bay colt (March 7) by Savoy Stomp out of Fedora. Seems to be sharper at exercise with an equipment change. Slammer finished a close second after breaking slowly out of the box. Slammer can stay close and then strike in the lane. Note, Slammer races with the visor and tongue tie on.

– TALONA is a dark bay filly (April 27) by Bayern out of To My Delight. Surprisingly was a no-show on last (Dec 10) after fighting before the race before. That non-performance by Talona can be pushed aside especially with the visor on.

– JUSTIN BIDEN is a chestnut gelding (April 15) by Lion Tamer out of Wagon Wheel. Can be bypassed.
