KINGSTON, Jamaica – In by far her best run yet SheBoom scored her second career victory in the Caymanas Saturday third.
That event was a four-year-old and upwards (non-winners of two) at a mile.
Jockey Dick Cardenas pushed SheBoom to vie for the lead with even money favourite Princess Lizzy (Reyan Lewis).
The two established themselves clear of the pack but the decisive move came from Cardenas (on the outside) leaving the three-furlong marker, when he swooped into the lead and never looked back.
Sheboom won by all of 11 ½ lengths for trainer Patrick Lynch from No Identity (Youville Pinnock) with Princess Lizzy third.
