KINGSTON, Jamaica – In a strong front running effort, Sergeant Reckless went to the front from the off in a Restricted Allowance 111 (four-year-olds and upwards) run over 6 ½ furlongs and was never headed.
Going off at odds of 5-1 and ridden by Omar Walker, Sergeant Reckless had to stave off a persistent challenge from even money favourite Atlantic Blue (Kiaman McGregor) before just being able to hold on.
Atlantic Blue was second with Ricky Ricardo (Abigail Able) third.
Sergeant Reckless was the second winner on the day for Walker and also trainer Wayne DaCosta.
