Schlesinger comes good for Reyan Lewis, and owner, trainer, breeder Carl Anderson in third of 13

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Trained, owner and breeder Carl Anderson was a happy camper after his three-year-old bay gelding Schlesinger with apprentice Reyan Lewis in the saddle won the third of 13 on the Saturday card at Caymanas Park minutes ago.
Schlesinger won a three-year-old maiden condition event run over four furlongs straight.
Second was a dead heat involving Sir Kel (Kiaman McGregor) and Resilient (Chris Mamdeen).
The winning time was 47.2 with Schlesinger winning at odds of 9-2.
The win was Lewis’ 29th for the season. He is now in a clear second, five wins behind Mamdeen in the jockeys’ championship.
