KINGSTON, Jamaica – It came up roses for trainer Spencer Chung who reached the career milestone of 200 winners after Roses for Elle conquered all in the Caymanas Saturday fifth.
That event was for four-year-old and upwards (fillies and mares) non-winners of two race lifetime and was run over six furlongs.
Ridden by Dane Nelson, Roses for Elle was kept off the pace racing in mid-pack.
Nelson pushed the button rounding the final turn and racing on the outside Roses for Elle galloped resolutely to give trainer Chung his 200th win.
Second was Ajita (Reyan Lewis) with Miss Hillington (Anthony Thomas) third.
