KINGSTON, Jamaica – Jockey Robert Halledeen found his way to the winners’ enclosure after a fairly long spell to win the second event on the 11-race card at Caymanas Park on the Gary Crawford trained Emerald Star a short while ago.

Racing in a Maiden Condition event for three-year-olds run over four furlongs straight, Halledeen kept Emerald Star close to the pace before switching to the inside rails as Free Polly and the 2-5 favourite Money Marshall fought for the lead.

Emerald Star then quickened and pulled away for a 1 ¼ length victory over Free Polly and the running on Nez Perce. Money Marshall was fourth.
