KINGSTON, Jamaica – Race Car, racing for the second time stayed close to the early pace and after a private duel with Sir Alton, accelerated with all gears in motion to win the eighth of 10 races on the spectator-less race day now in progress at Caymanas Park.

With an effervescent Dane Nelson in the saddle for trainer Spencer Chung, Race Car travelling in a Restricted Stakes event run over seven furlongs, found his top end speed in the lane leaving all in his wake. The winning margins were 4 ¼ lengths by a short head.

The final time recorded by Race Car was 1:26.0 with splits of 24.3 x 47.3 x 1:12.0.

This win made it two from two for Race Car, while Nelson was also winning his second race on the day.

Second was Uncle Polly with Sir Alton third.
